Our International Market & More Series Launched with Día de Todos los Santos on October 26th!
The heart of our latin community was celebrating in East Lake Park from 11am to 4pm this year for our 4th annual Día de los Santos celebration. Participants enjoyed amazing food, music and art made by our Latin American neighbors and friends. Huge thanks to everyone who came out!
Our market events are free and fun for everyone!
Also known as "All Souls Day", this special holiday celebrates and provides space for us to fondly celebrate loved ones that had an impact on our lives.
The History of the International Market
Art 120 began this journey by organizing the first Día de los Muertos Market for Chattanooga eight years ago. Right before Covid hit, they expanded their cultural outreach in order to provide opportunities for Chattanooga’s refugee and new American populations to sell their art, crafts, and food. This not only supports Chattanooga’s burgeoning entrepreneurs, but also helps create networking and deeper understanding by sharing their awesome food, music and culture with the greater community. This is Art 120’s fourth season of International Market events. Special thanks to the Tennessee Art Commission, the City of Chattanooga and Reagan Outdoor for their continued support.

Art 120 Summer
Our summer was full of great activities for kids. The Jingle Truck visited children at seven Bethlehem supported youth camps from Red Bank to Glass Street. Thanks to our partners at Friends of the Festival, we provided a creative pop up station at two of their summer concerts. Together we reached over 250 kids.
The Urban Art Bike Program was also going strong this summer. We had five kids who worked with artists Ondina Aguirre and Gaz Gazzola to build a Jelly fish art bike. During teacher training, the teachers worked with Kate Warren to build a cicada bike. They were exhibited at the Library’s Maker Day and you can expect to see them delighting people around town in the future.
